Hello, all.

If you're anything like me, you don't make enough terrain (or any terrain at all). With this in mind I have decided to host a terrain challenge in August over on my blog, Dead Dick's Tavern. Full details are here:

angrypiper.com/?p=3267

Basically, complete (scratchbuild or assemble and paint) at least one piece of terrain in the month of August; scale/genre unimportant (whatever you will use it for). If you want to take part, drop me a line at angrypiper at angrypiper dot com, or just leave me a comment, and I will be certain to add your name/site/blog to the blogroll over on my site!

I'll be posting updates here as well.

Thanks for looking!

I may take you up on this challenge. I have been meaning to make 3' section of railroad tracks for one of my Pulp Alley tables.

As a compulsive terrain builder this is right in my wheelhouse; I'm in!

I will post my progress on my blog antonswargame.blogspot.com

daftrica89@yahoo.com

P.S. Can we start now?

Hi AP. This is a brilliant idea. I'm in the midst of a whole host of things – the Bulge, Arnhem, trees, buildings. Everything I'm doing gets added to my blog allhellletloose.co.uk

Anton, Charles: I've added your names and sites to the blogroll for the kickoff post to be posted on August 1st (that's 1st August for you, Charles..). Glad to have you both aboard!

Codsticker: It's not too late, man! Don't be the "coulda shoulda woulda" guy! :)

Everyone else: There's still time to join in the fun. Let me know if you want to participate. It's a great way to get people to visit your blog (if you care about that),with the added bonus of getting some terrain built!! Win-win!

I'm building a base for a Playmobil Arena as well as a Medieval tower, the easy part is done on both, now I have to get down to brass tacks and start the detail work.

The challenge has come to an end with some truly amazing submissions, as you can see above. A list of all participants and links to their respective blogs/projects can be found here:

along with my humble efforts.

Thanks to all who took part! Hope to do it again next year!
