Awesome man, and thanks for rushing to get this written and posted. The PBRs, Marines, Amtrac, and village all looked great. Of course, the Marines could have used a bit more support from those two dual-.50s! And let's just be honest, a Marine platoon will be fine without the Zero; perhaps if he'd have been leading from the front, rather than hanging in the rear with the gear, this wouldn't have happened ;)

I loved the rocket, awesome! Wonder where you got an idea like that ;)

I recognized some of the Marines and the sampans as coming from Jimmi, but where did those jungle hootches, particularly the elevated one, come from? It's super cool.

And what's up with all the criminals in 1st Squad? Gear coming up missing in a combat zone is a good way for the culprit to come up missing! And where are the fire team leaders for 2nd Squad?

I expected some comment about the officer from you. Yes I did "borrow" the pipecleaner idea from you. The only good idea you have had as I recall : )
Most of the marines and sampans are from Jimmi. The rest are from Peter Pig. The hootches are Miniature building authority. Too bad they don't do 15mm anymore. The elevated one is JR miniatures and is sweat.
Regarding 1st squad, that is the way the die rolled. Not my fault. I didn't say gear was missing just stuff. Post battle I rolled that Cpl Lucero was noticed by the CO. Rolled and the interaction was negative. Thought about it and came up with that explanation. Rolled "possible" that the squad would figure out it was Lucero and missed. Next battle will raise it to "probable" but won't surprise me if gunny sends him out somewhere exposed.

Regarding 2nd squad I have stared focusing on just one squad and using everyone else as NPCs so I didn't roll up the FT leaders for second squad. Salvatore is a NPC.

Will try to play another one this weekend. Depends how much care I have to provide my Dad.

I'm particularly taken with that platformed house. I'll have to see if Novus Design is carrying it, or if there's an old JR Minis one floating around on the internet.

Yeah, things have a way of taking care of themselves. And it's 'Gunny,' not 'gunny'!

Gotcha, and I certainly understand the perils of trying to follow too many characters…
