I just came across two nice figures of Maul and Grievous. I'd like to use them in a war game scenario between the Clone Wars and Episode IV: A New Hope.

Now, I've read that Maul supposedly survived the CW's and was in other Star Wars Stories so this shouldn't be a problem for him.

What about Grievous? I'm familiar with the movies, but not with the TV and (most of) the printed stories. Is there any chance he could have made it thru the CW's or is his demise uncontested?

Can't say, but given the re-write of who shot first in the Cantina by Disney, why worry?

I'm sure you may be able to write a story as well as the original guy, after the first movie.

Just try to avoid the endless repeated storylines, which get to be rather predictable, and frustrating upon the 3rd+ iteration………..

In the Disneyverse, no one's ever really gone… at least while their merch still turns a profit.

Darth Maul lived on to become a gangster boss… best part of the Solo movie debacle.
Grievous is just dead. Though with the new Star Wars Legion box set coming you can have Grievous lead a droid army to fight Luke and rebels, so whatever.

That was LONG before Disney got involved.

To me, Maul got killed by Obi Wan Kenobi in the Tatooine desert in Star Wars:Rebels.
