The Isolano Irregular Light Horse under Colonel Johann Ludwig Hektor Isolano (Croatian and Hungarian) present at 1st Breitenfeld.

Does anyone have any idea how either of these groups should appear at or around the time of this battle?

Thanks for any tips.

Good introduction to the regiment though I think that the news that his regiment had been disbanded after Nördlingen never got to Isolano ;-) It kept on serving with Imperial armies for another 6 years until command was transfered to Beygott, finaly the end came in 1641 as the regiment was split up and incorporated into 3 other Croat regiments.

It looks like both Old Glory and Warlord make minis that could represent this Regiment.

They would be a nice change to paint from all the Cuirassiers at Breitenfeld.

Thanks both again for the info.

Hi Uesugi, I used Warlord Games and TAG Croats for this unit to represent the Imperial light cavalry fighting against Gustav Adolf.

Foundry also do some Cossacks which I think make a nice alternative. See here
