For those TSATF nuts out there that need a fix we will have a great assortmentt of nine or more games at that upcoming HURRICON 2019 Sept. 26th – 29th .

Great, looking forward to it! I'll be signing up for that one for sure. Now I know why you wanted me to make you some French and Arabic flags.

This is great news. 40 years old and still the best colonial ruleset out there.

TSATF fans: As the games are submitted for our table in front of the Regimental Supply and Dwight Jones booths they tend to fill up fast. I suggest you sign up for them as they appear. Remember you have to pre-register to be able to sign up for a game.

Pasha Nick, don't forget the "Last Stand Boatyard" will have a booth next to yours and by the TSATF table as well! Between the (3) of you guys there will be plenty for the avid colonial gamer to buy! Painted figures, hand built terrain, rules, and Gunboats.

Here's the lowdown on the game I'm running Saturday night.

Bashaw's Dilemma – Morocco – 6 April, 1903
The Bashaw's 1st cousin, Sheik Yahbutti, the Captain of his beloved Black Guard Cavalry has been charged with the murder of a prisoner in his care, Graf Manfred von Kriegslieber, Kaiser Wilhelm's nephew and favorite delivery boy. The Germans are livid and are on their way to Tangiers to discuss reparations and possibly a declaration of war on Morocco! The French, British, Italians, and Americans who all have fleets in the area have gotten word of the possibility of war and are all headed full steam to Tangiers! But what came of the Moroccan pirates from Mogadir who originally kidnapped the envoy for ransom?

Cheers,
JB

And I'm doing something a little different.

Sudan Beach Holiday

The Egyptian influence in the region is failing. The local warlords are getting restless and have been conducting raids to cutoff Egyptian outposts all along the Nile. The hard liner Egyptian Governor refuses to recognize any treaties with the British and would rather cut a deal with the Dervish who really want no part of it, or do they?

The British have had enough of the Egyptian political antics. A large-scale amphibious assault is being planned to take the heavily defended port town and capture the Governor. Gunboats from the flotilla have been sent towing assault boats into position. The stage is set, nervous Egyptian infantry are waiting in their defensive positions, the Dervish are eager to invade the port from the desert and the British Flotilla is just off shore. As the British commander(s) what could possibly go wrong? As the Egyptian commander what could possibly go right?

Should be fun. Dan

The TSATF table will have a nice mix of locales. Listed on the Tabletop games schedule so far are games in Morocco, Algeria and Arabia. Soon to come the Sudan, Nicaragua, and we think darkest Africa. Let's pre-reg and sign up for games.

four games on our table are now listed on the schedule. One is filling fast. Pre-reg and sign up.
