This could be an interesting scenario at any of several scales, from skirmish to micro scale: link I'm leaning in favor of a situation where aliens have figured out where we're keeping their comrades prisoner, and they have used social media to hypnotize a million people into creating a huge diversion while they land and effect the rescue. |

Or there's the game in which 10,000 civilian idiots storm your classified facility, and you have to catch the ten who are enemy agents. (No, you're not allowed to just shoot everyone.) This is also why colonials are a fringe period for me. WAY too many figures to paint for the low-firepower side. |
