I just spoke with Lori Brom (Sergenats3, publisher of TSATF). They are doing OK right now (1:00 pm CDT, Saturday) in New Orleans, having only experienced some gusty winds and light to moderate rain.

I hope that all our other Louisiana wargamers are and will be OK as Barry passes through.

We have had no issues in Slidell so far. It is a very strange, disorganized storm. Mostly going to be a rain event.

The sky opened on the West Bank (I live in Algiers) about two hours ago and we're getting tornado warnings but the rain has let up and I haven't heard anything that sounds like a freight train. So far, so good.

Also (just hoping the best for you all in an uncertain situation)!

Thanks for the update, Jim. I had exchanged emails with them on Friday. Prayers to all in the storm's path that you are safe and out of harms way.

Well…I hope that Barry was New Orleans' storm for this hurricane season.
