Which interests you more when playing a miniature wargame: the outcome (i.e., who wins) or the story (how the game plays, and how you imagine it fitting into the campaign/background/history)?

56% said "story"
16% said "outcome"
6% said "I'm a solo gamer, so outcome is irrelevant to me"

Actually, we don't know. I listed "both" in the pre-poll discussion nd pointed out its omission as a choice in the poll comments. The poll was not run according to your usual process for TMP polls.

Gotta agree with Florida Tory, who cares about the outcome if the story is lacking?

The game what else. Who cares who wins or even what a win is? If a Company attacks a Platoon its expected to prevail. However how and why and if it prevails is where the interest is not the end result, which is often just the expected outcome.
