3, So much stuff to look at which can be an issue with time constraints. I get more response when I post photos on the various groups I have been following and often wonder how my normal friends view my hobby which I'd rather they didn't see.

I quit it like a bad venereal disease.

3 -- loads of wargaming related groups there, plus places to buy stuff. If you're not on it, you're missing out.

Narratio10 Jul 2019 7:09 p.m. PST

4 – Mostly to see some of the painted eye candy. Plus a couple of board game groups.

Its easy to post pictures there.

3 – there are many excellent wargaming groups, so plenty of opportunity to share ideas, pose questions, publicise events, etc. Also quite a few manufacturers advertising there and publicising their product (even Peter Pig!)

Also great for keeping in touch with my many friends around the globe

3, and set all the gaming groups I follow to "show me this first".

Best medium going by far to keep up with favourite games and manufacturers, and to organise local games and find new players (despite the grognards who refuse to use it).

4, but soon to be 5. Hate FB… Can't stomach it, as it is designed to make you its slave, checking for new posts multiple times per day: topics of interest keep flowing downhill; it is difficult to follow a conversation (IMO).

I can't stand how younger people vent their spleen's on social media -- worse than attending a Gallagher concert in the front few rows… Cheers!

Funny, but for me, Facebook is about the only place on the internet (TMP included) where I don't get any of that. Seriously. Then again, I'm only active on arts, heritage and historical wargame pages (plus social/family and friends … but I'm careful what requests I accept) ..

I unsubscribed from many of the forums and Yahoo Groups I was signed up to because of the overmighty citizens who spoiled them. I've hardly ever had that sort of problem on Facebook – in general I think it is much better moderated.

Much prefer Yahoo Groups. Our local club is very active on Yahoo. I belong to a dozen gaming related groups. FB is a national security risk. Unforgivable for their contribution to dis-information in the run up to 2016. I am usually not a fan of regulation and censorship but FB needs oversight.

I find Facebook to be a great asset for my Miniature gaming experience. The groups to which I belong are informative, helpful and friendly. It also is diverse in it's content and moves along rather quickly.

I agree … I don't go to pages or other type links generally unless it about my modelling and gaming.

Like the net in general … their is a lot of Bleeped text Bleeped text Bleeped text out there …
