Played our first ever games of Lion Rampant on the weekend. It was good to compare how these played against Saga which we have also played recently. Overall I felt Lion Rampant gave a more free flowing and lively game with a very enjoyable narrative. While LR is certainly a light game it felt a little more historical than Saga which seemed more about the game system than the period. We will play a bit more of each before deciding our final thoughts but here are a couple of AARs of the recent games Lion Rampant first games and thoughts

Yes nice looking games alright. Makes me want to dig out my unfinished LR project and start painting again.
Thanks for posting

Curses! This looks like another period to tempt me, especially with the ready availability of the Perry plastics for the HYW. I must look into Lion Rampant a bit more – is there a good online review or intro on YouTube?

I can't answer that, but it has a very active community and bloggers. The rules are fairly straightforward and easy to pick up. Google is probably your friend here.
