I don't know about Osg being white, but I know MT should be, but my light-ish grey will have to do.

Light Grey is good. I see the ruins as being granite, rather than marble.
Maybe Minas Tirith is painted, this making it white (or some kind of magical radiance), but whatever the source, Osgiliath is a dead city, so I don't see it as white.

it's all made up anyway, and the wargame mat I use for the ground is full of light grey stonework so it all matches pretty well.
