Apparently Micheal Mann will make a mini series based on Mark Bowen's Hue 1968 book.
Let's hope Mann's influence for authenticity will be seen in the series.

Let's just hope he includes the NVA mass murders and doesn't just gloss it over.

And I'm really looking forward to someone posting some comparison to other ranges after they see them at Historicon.

BTW – the book looks excellent.

I kept hearing the book was excellent as well. Just to give a counter point- I thought it was good but thought it slow in some parts. Still worth the read but glad I got it from the library. Maybe with all the hype I set my expectations too high. YMMV

Don't hold your breath VCarter and Legion 4. But I would like to see those things too.

I hope I am wrong. But this is Hollywood.

Films and TV series are not usually able to go into sufficient depth to hold my interest. They tend to start at a very basic level and all the while have to be 'entertaining' at the same time.

I may watch a little and see if I am pleasantly surprised. But I won't be waiting with baited breath.

Generally yes… But documentaries by e.g. Ken Burns, like his ACW and Vietnam series are very much the exception.
