I've seen the Xyston and Northstar wire spears, which are quite nice, but the overseas shipping makes the price unappetizing. Isn't there anyone in the US what makes these things? |

Buy a pair of nippers/cutters, and you can make your own from piano wire. A pair of pliers for flattening the ends, and a cheap, knockoff Dremel for sharpening/shaping them, should you decide to do that, might be useful too. |

Recreational Conflict carries both NorthStar and Arcane Scenery wire spears in 100mm and 50mm lengths. |

Check in Reno for either a Hobby Town or a Ace Hardware store. Either should carry thin diameter steel wire. That's where I get mine. Jim |

If you are looking at 28mm, Blow gun dart ammo works great for pics and spears – easily and very cheaply had on eBay. |

Go to a micheals or hobby lobby or a local flower shop. You can get wire with varying thickness. |
