Which ruleset do you feel provides the most historically accurate results?

I would say Historical Battle DBA over all…

But, Tactica II does a good job with Ancients as well…

How would any of the respondents even know if any of these rules are historically accurate?

They may have tried to recreate an actual historical battle using the rules. This is done every year at the Society of Ancients Battle day. Here a specific battle is chosen and fought using a number of different rule sets. Last year for Telamon, 12 sets were used. I've always been pleased with Historical DBA.
