I like the style of these figures. A bit different from the earlier Romans. The others are nice too, by the way. I see Agema has a Roman ship, as well. Personally, I do not have a lot of room for ships (still have 20mm Greek and Roman ships I haven't built; primarily because of the storage space needed to ensure they do not get wrecked). If I had Roman ships, I would get these. |

Nicely modelled figures as are all Agema products. It is a pity they are dressed in variations of the misinterpretations of Osprey Republican Roman Warships( New Vanguard 225). link Of course figure producers will use reference material found at hand. The error is generated by the author of the book. This kind of thing can then grow and be replicated for years until it is quashed. Viz. Connolly's Carthaginian phalanx and leather armour for Roman legionaries. IMHO |
