Hello all! I have a hankering to expand my collection of ACW houses in 15mm from the 1 I have to several more. I'm wondering if you have favorite manufactures of 15mm ACW houses you would recommend. from looking online I see Stone Mountain Timecast Peter Pig Paper Terrain Empires as War -I'm really tempted by the paperterrain stuff, if just for the camp / tent set. But I also like the famous church set. Though I'm hesitant bc, you know, it's paper. please don't suggest 10mm houses. I don't want those. I want 15mm. thanks for any advice! it's appreciated. |

Many of the laser cut outfits make great buildings for 15mm. 4Ground, Sally4th, etc. They may be horse and musket generic but are perfectly suitable. I just used a big bunch of "log cabins" that work great for anything in N America out in the boonies. The little village in the background:

If you are able to make it to Historicon, I will have both the Timecast 15mm and the Mark IV 15mm (the old Musket Miniatures 15mm line). |

I really like Empires at War products. Very 1860s American and not difficult to build. |

thanks for the feedback everyone. some good options all around. I've forgotten about Hovels. but more importantly, didn't think to look at BTC! I won't be at historicon, but I like the Timecast range and heard good things about the Musket Miniature range though I've never seen them in person. I'm assuming BTC is able to ship em. : ) |

Just to close up the thread… ordered some timecast buildings from BTC and was very pleased. Also convenient because my stone walls are also from BTC. @OG; I did check out the website and did not see ACW as a category. I saw some Old West buildings that looked great but not quite what I was looking for. but I still love you. I get all of my 15/18mm ACW figures from the blue moon range. love em. |

Hi John, Will you be doing 15mm buildings for ACW? Gallo

Gallo, my buildings are roughly to scale for 10mm figures and dioramas, but are perfect for 15mm wargames. Many gamers use them for both sizes/scales. I dont think I will ever make an exact scale building for 15mm unless I am commissioned to do so. |
