Recently I picked up a copy of What a Tanker from Too Fat Lardies. My problem is I didn't have many tanks available. I have some American and German tanks for Flames of War, but what about other countries during other WW II time periods?

Then I remembered reading here about a company that made 15mm tanks "pre-painted" for $5.00 USD each. A little investigation lead me to a company called Gaming Models.

Here is my blog entry that describes the models I received.

I have bought some from them too. An inexpensive option, and they are ok for tabletop.

Just keep them 2 feet away and you will be fine.
I have all my trucks from them.

The PzIII and PzIV are definitely better looking to my eye than the Pz38t here. Thanks for posting.

Craig is a great guy an offers a good a reasonable product. He will make things the other companies don't. If you give his stuff a good paint job it is very good option. I mix is stuff in with everything.

I've always liked their products. The only issue I had was how fragile some of the gun barrels were.

yes…. shame it's not in the UK.

Picked up some Italian trucks from him. Only ones I could find with an open cargo bed (the tilt is removable on his). Was quite pleased. Also some truly well done DFS-230 gliders. His newer stuff is much more detailed. At no charge he paints all the ones I order flat black which takes care of primer. And, as mentioned, very reasonable.

I got some of his vehicles too. You certainly can't argue with the price! I also asked him not to paint them, but just leave them primed in Dunkelgelb.

Some of his earlier designs are not quite as good. Then again, you're paying $5 USD for a assembled, primed tank! I bought a Czech 38t as well, and, yeah it looks a bit rough. However, when they are on the table rolling into France, they look just fine! That said, his later stuff is much better. And there are some rare vehicles no one else makes.

Will totally order from him again.

"yes…. shame it's not in the UK."

Unless Customs nonsense, VAT, and any other paperwork impedimenta are an issue, he does ship overseas. He's delivered to me here in Australia with no drama. I concede that the postage has the potential to be a bit scary…
