Which makers offer the best 15mm sculpts for New Kingdom Egyptians, Hittites, Sea peoples and all the usual suspects of that era?

"Best" is most visually appealing sculpts and, especially in the case of chariots, most robust for wargames handling.

Maybe I should add 20mm chariots to the mix? Are the Newline ones nice?

The Khurasan NKE are very nice.

Cheers,
John

I rather like the Blackhat ranges for NKE and Hittites. However, their chariots can be a pain to fit the figures in, so I ended up using Essex chariots.

Essex chariots are relatively easy to assemble. Sculpts are nice.Chariot drivers had some flash. I guess your level of painting skills can turn a sows ear into a silk purse. If you want, you can email me your address to cmm2350atsympatico.ca and I'll send you one no charge. I'll pay for shipping if you promise to make a $ 5.00 donation to Wounded Warriors or some other such group.

Yes, I also like MM/Chariot Miniatures … I find them more authentic and easier to fit onto a standard base.

I am sending a few of the New Line 20mm chariots off to a painter to see how they turn out. That's a nice little range.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

I always like Magister Militum for Ancient Near Eastern types.
