Anyone know of a way to watch this in the USA?

Apparently you need to set up a VPN, which you can then use to convince BBC iPlayer that your IP address is in the UK. Soundss all too techy for me, but I know my son gets BBC stuff in Singapore.

Rather disappointing – celebrity "look at me" presenter and embarrassing re-enactments with 'look-unalikes'…

"Disappointing" doesn't go far enough. What a load of twaddle!! I only watched 15 minutes of the first episode before I was taken out of the room. Presenting the issue as puritan vs Catholic!!! And not even mentioning Archbishop Laud!! No Ship Money, no monopolies, just religious disagreements!!!
And our school history curriculum is so patchy that not many people will know any better

A tremendous opportunity squandered. So sad!
