Hello everyone, Is there in the trade, a rule 'very sharp, very serious' with figurines or we find dozens of dinosaurs listed that can compete in fighting to death as we suppose they did? The presence of human prehistoric or not being possible if it is a fancy rule … Thank you in advance. |

Dino Duel (2008) link just mod it into miniatures. |

Just an idea if you can't find dino-on-dino rules specifically: perhaps look into some of the Kaiju/Giant Monster games? They might be adaptable (minus any "beam" weapons, etc.). |

"Dino Might" by Magister Militum should fit the bill. |

Thanks to all three, but there is not a normal game with figurines, without cards? |

Go look at "Cretacea" over on Wargames Vault. I think it may fit the bill, despite there being cards for the various dinos' stats. |

As I suspect you're thinking of a skirmish/hunting type game with a small group of anachronistic humans fighting an even smaller group of dinosaurs, you could always use D&D. Almost any edition will do, though 5e has specific miniatures combat rules which many of the earlier editions glossed over. (I never played 4e, but I gather it's even more explicitly for miniatures in combat than 5e is). Of course Chainmail or the AD&D Battlesystem are very much miniatures rules, the latter especially if you want a bigger fight. You can freely ignore the magic and other fantasy doodads and just have a slugfest with weapons & Dino chomps. There are stats for dinosaurs in nearly every edition of the core game. |

Paskal – the Magister Militum Dino Might rules are designed to be played using Magister Militum's 10mm dinosaur miniatures. And they do include rules for cavemen or more modern hunters. From the boardgame geek review - From PublisherFigure rules for gaming with Dinosaurs, other Prehistoric Creatures and Humans foolish enough to get involved with them. The aim of the game is to keep your Dinosaurs alive and eat the other players Dinosaurs, causing them as much trouble as you can. Each species has it's own characteristics, 6 or more (more if it flies or swims), plus a size bracket (which affects combat, but another characteristic, Concealment, affects spotting) and a points cost. Each turn, in initiative order (roll 1d10) creatures move (a distance determined by species), attack one another (opposed d10 rolls adding attack & defence per species), suffer the consequences (damage reduces characteristics), attempt to spot other creatures (sensory acuity by species) and test for panic if attacked or hurt (panic rating, again, by species, less aggressive species panic more easily. Rules on ambushes, charges and some very simple terrain effects are included, as are rules for time-travelling human intervention – either 'cave men' or modern hunters. 51 species of ancient creatures are detailed (all of which are available in 10mm scale metal miniatures from the publisher), along with variously armed humans and their vehicles (with ranged combat rules). A number of possible scenario suggestions is included. The rules are simple by figures gaming standards, but fairly complete as a combat game. Graphics are very basic, and the rulebook is 24 pages of A4 stapled with a clear plastic cover. Also available as a download.

Thank you Parzival, so D & D. 5th edition, but what is D & D? Thank you goragrad for the link and the intelligence, anyway I will do that with dinosaurs at the scale of my 28mm figurines, so with the Magister Militum Dino Might rules the dinosaurs can compete in a rather complex way like the would human figurines be made into a rule of skirmish or gladiators? They could not also face a giant gorilla? |

Paskal – Dungeons & Dragons. The newer editions have stats for some of the dinosaurs, I believe. |
