Printing Scenario Maps with Poster Software

You've got a scenario map, and you need to create some hills. Is there some way to just print out the map in very large scale, so you can trace the outline of the hills you need to build? The Editor finds out...

I'm building several battalions of winter campaign Empire troops for the fantasy battle game 9th Age.

I used left over weapons and head bits from various GW Empire boxed sets, including the old Empire battalion box along with Warlord Games Napoleonic late French infantry. The late French infantry come in long coats which look very much like heavy winter coats when combined with fantasy heads equipped with fur-lined caps and hats, etc.

In addition the standard infantry gear that comes in the Napoleonic infantry box is quite generic in appearance and all fits in a fantasy setting, with the exception of perhaps the cartridge box.

Warlord Games boxed infantry was perfect because the head and bodies are separate components so it was simple to just glue on fantasy Empire heads instead of the historical heads.

The muskets were clipped off and a hole drilled behind the arm so that the halberds and spears could be inserted.

I also like the poses of the infantry carrying their muskets, it allowed for the Empire troops to be carrying their weapons up on the shoulder as they would when marching a long distance.

That's actually a pretty neat idea!

My Empire Army is built from a mix of 6th edition plastics, and Warlord/Perry historicals, so this idea really appeals to me.

Enterprising.
