As there are quite a few ship models I made, distributed round the world now ,I thought it might be nice to show a few pictures of models build by you. Lets start with a Hunt Typ II class model made by Karl Forder. What I especially like is that he put a barrage balloon up at the back of the ship!

This is such a nostalgia trip for me. I had an old (in every sense) friend who served on a Type III L15 HMS Eggesford, in the Med. He had some great photos and I scratch built a model for him in 1/350 scale. How I remember trying to get the gunshields for the 4ins to simply look right… The models here are much better and I simply love the cardstock free offering. That is a really impressive gesture.
