Glad to say I had the privilege of meeting Col. Friend several times at various airshows in the LA area, often with the P51 'Bunny' in attendance too. It was painted to honor one of he planes he flew. His autographed picture hangs in my hobby room. Always a kind and gentle man, happy to spend time with you. |
