"Request Feed Back 28mm River Design " Topic

I'll be starting work on our 28mm blue river system soon and wanted some feedback on whether or not the castings should include banks?

If you mean the small banks like your 15mm river sections have, then yes.

I think either is fine but raised banks is probably a yes.

I don't have any of your products, but Foxhole's rivers with banks are better for having them.

How would players disguise the edges of a bankless river?

Roads can be raised above grade so it's OK to make them bankless because visible edges don't seem so incongruous. Rivers are literally always below grade. To maintain that illusion a model river on top of a layout has to have banks.

I agree with the slightly raised river banks as per CL and others.

More importantly, I recommend that the 28mm river system be constructed so as to integrate with the 15mm river system. This will allow for smaller tributaries to flow into the 28mm rivers, allow 28mm to originate as smaller steams, etc.

I look forward to the completed product.

I like the ones with banks like on your site. I was asking at Little Wars about 28mm scaled ones so I'm on the lookout.
