We ran a single day Necromunda campaign yesterday. It was open to all and we started with 800 point gangs. There were six gangs that people could borrow if they didn't have their own. Through the day we had seven people play, including two who had never played before and one of those had never played a miniatures game at all before. We had a nice variety of gangs including Van Saar, Escher, Chaos cultists, Goliaths and venators. We played through a bunch of different scenarios including The Hit, Rescue Mission, Tunnel Skirmish, Ambush, Escape the Pit and Escort. The store supported us with prizes. The gaming lasted from about 11:30 to 5:30. We will do another one in July at some point, probably after Historicon.

We did have a pretty good response. The two brand new players picked up on the game pretty quickly. One of them played the Chaos Cultists for the two games they won. Overall we had 8 players through the day. We didn't even have three of our regulars there that day.
