As an old timer, I've kinda sniffed at video content. I hate all the long intros with obnoxious music and spinning geeky logos. Some of those created by GW gamers are something else. There's so much filler that then is hard to go back and mark out the useful bits. I don't want to sit there and take notes. It's really just an inefficient way to deliver useful content.

That said, I've come to enjoy a few of them anyways. I do prefer some of the more sober wargamer ones that don't aim to forcefully yank your attention away from driving. ;D

In any event – are there any that focus on painting and terrain that you find routinely useful? Perhaps we avoid the ones that teach you how to play a particular rule set.

To start I do enjoy Luke's APS YouTube link and find him amiable and helpful. Terrain Tutor YouTube link is helpful too.

What else?

You've already listed the only two I regularly watch :-)

Gotta say I've saved loads of hobby money thanks to Luke and his homemade medium recipes! And they really do work, too!

Little Wars TV is one of the best Historical gaming channels I have watched. Getting ready to start its 2nd year on July 1st. I can't wait!!!!

The best results for teaching things like that are read overview-watch it happen-read details (with pix).
