Hi guys

Early 1/72nd French CoC Platoon finished, as well as my converted crew for the German Type 40 car.

Pics are a little poor, very overcast here today, had to use a flash.

The French are a mixture of Pegasus, Caesar, and Hat WWI French, many converted, theres 3x12 man Rifle sections, and a mortar, HMG, FO, and sniper for supports, will make some engineers and AT guns, as well as adding armour and vehicles, I have bought a pre painted Char B1 bis (first time I have done this), which I will shade/highlight and weather using my usual techniques, its quite a nice model.

The German crew are converted from Hat tank rider bodies and AB heads, left over from my Gebirgsjagers project.
More pics here (very pic heavy)

You are making me want to move back into 20mm WWII.
But what to do with all these 15mm?

Gunner Dunbar23 Jun 2019 2:04 p.m. PST

15mm is good to, I have a pretty large 15mm, just don't have the time to do both.

Really nice work! The colours are really nice and spot on.

I love the look of that vehicle too…

Hi Gunner Dunbar, fantastic job, very inspirational! I was also wondering if it was possible to get some early war French done using only 20mm plastics but I was put off by the lack of support options. I might end up going for a box of Pegasus, a box of Caesar, a HaT 75mm field gun and a couple light tanks. I too love the B1 but I don't know if I'd ever get a chance to field it!

You can do it with a little work.
