"On June 26th, 1944, at 5:00 am, the British launched the operation EPSOM to bypass CAEN by the west and seize a ridge line to have views of the southern access to the city. The operation will last until June 30th without achieving the intended goal. However an advance of twenty kilometers will however be achieved. We arenow at day 26th, it is 9:00 am. Well very interesting and beautifully done, the scenery, the buildings, the terrain, and of course the vehicles and troops. Interesting little photo technique there with the shell splashes, fires, and even shooting from infantry and emplaced guns. |
