Imagine that you've bought a boxed miniatures game, and it comes with generic six-sided dice. What do you do with the dice? * keep them in the game box * add them to your dice collection etc. |

Keep them in the box with the game. I've got plenty of other loose dice. |

If they are just routine d6 I throw them in the collective. |

Keep them in the box. I often game at other folks' places, so it's good to know a game is ready-to-play. |

They stay in the box. Old-timers remember the late 70's, when some boardgames were shipped with a note, explaining that due to the high cost of oil, dice would no longer be included in games. I am not making that up. |

All dice go in the appropriate bag, which then goes in the dice box. I do need a bigger box. But what is this "box game" of which you speak? |

Pull them out to put with my dice collection. Find them in a random pile 6 months later. |

In the box. Unless it's Yahtzee. Then I steal the dice and throw away the box. |
