I didn't know the French has cell phones that far back in time! They had better be careful around explosives, unlike many fellow driver today in vehicles!

Gun carriages blue for French and British?

Yes
Blue for French, not the red commonly thought.

I never thought it was red for the French, I knew that by the SYW they had gone or were at least going to blue. But the Brits, weren't they supposed to be red?
Of course they did capture a lot of French guns and wheeled transport.
