So Israel sold their interest in IWI.

Not a big fan of aluminum and composite, but the short stroke piston is a major plus.

Definitely room for a 20-pound mini-fridge on top of that. Every military planner will love it for its low-low weight which means a soldier can now carry an extra 40 pounds of gear.

One might wonder if IMI remained consistent and designed the exterior of the gun first and then threw in some components so that it would actually work, poorly. But who cares Israel could sell you a slingshot and people would think they got the certified supreme weapon of certain doom.

Also see my previous comments that in the future every brand new rifle will be an AR-15.

Kind of looks reminiscent of a CZ Scorpion EVO to me. Not a bad thing, if the controls are a ergonomic as the Scorpion (except the safety).
