So most of the posts I see on this topic are quite old. I know there are some newer sources, but not sure who is still in business.

I am aware of Elite, but they are identical figures of a pose. I've come to like the multiple poses in a unit now.

I found an announcement and some pictures of League of Augsburg 1806 Prussians from 2013, but they are not on their Shop site. Any idea what happened to them.

Foundry are Revolutionary, so not as interested in those.

Thanks for any help.

Three armies does 1806 prussians. Sold through emperor toads imporoum.
So far all infantry is made, musketeers (in 3 different cuff types) grenadiers and fusiliers.
Artillery and cavalry is on the work bench.

Thanks! I only see one offering of 1806 Prussian musketeers on the Emperor Toad's site. But they do have a lot of Saxons, which is pretty cool!

Elite Miniatures do 1806 Prussians but if you're a foundry fan you won't like their style.

Three armies used to be sold by Three armies but the actual production of the range has been moved to emperor toad, I'm sure it's just a lag before it's all there. I have grenadiers, musketeers and fusiliers. It's because they had to move all the moulds to another casting company.

If you like old school miniatures there are the Prussian 1806 from Casting Room Miniatures at Foundry.

Thanks, guys. I am OK with Elite sculpting style. The main issue I have is that there is only one figure per pose. I've gotten used to companies like Calpe that offer numerous variations of the same pose. While I can't expect everyone to offer that level of variation, a few variants of each pose would be ideal!

Wow! The Casting Room minis are interesting. Do you know if how they compare to Elite or others?

Were the bicornes really as big as those on the Foundry/Casting Room figs?

RobSmiyh…i was going to put up some Foundry 1806 Prussian Dragoons up for sale tomorrow. Email me at djmaritime42@gmail.com if you want to know more.

Elite tend to be tall slender figures, more akin to a 30mm figure.
I've not seen any Casting Room figures.

Rob – looks like a great project – I hope to see them on the tabletop at MillenniumCon down the road!

I'm extremely happy with my Three Armies 1806 Prussians. A pleasure to paint with nice, crisp detail.

best impression for 1806 – Doepler

for more go to ASK Brown collection

also Markus Stein – at his Uniformportal shows Hild – which gives bigger hats than Doepler.

Hey Peter, check your link. Not sure you've got the right pics up.

I thought I was linking to just one photo of Prussians, not everything on FB. FB generally remains a mystery to me.

I am very excited by the three armies ranges I have wanted to do a 1806 Prussian army for a long time. I have three armies revolutionary French and Austrians which I really like and will start painting this weekend.

I plan to buy a division to start with around Christmas, after I complete some more Austrians for my Austerlitz project.

Cheers
Matt

I have been planning an 1806 Prussian army for 15+ years but have still not pulled the trigger. I keep waiting for the "perfect" line to be released. In the meantime my other Napoleonic and SYW armies continue to grow. I know about Foundry/Casting Room and Elite and they both have fairly complete lines, but both also have some drawbacks. The Three Armies range looks very promising with the Musketeers already available. I will probably wait up a bit to see what else they actually release before taking the plunge as I have seen far too many incomplete ranges over the years.

Anyone know what has happened to the FG MiniZ figures that were crowdfunded a few years ago? They had some really nice looking infantry, but they never did the cavalry, as far as I know.

Gunfreak Supporting Member of TMP14 Jun 2019 10:04 a.m. PST

The hussars showed up, then there was talk about redoing the infantry, some claim much of kickstarter money went to the ACW range instead. And now the company is gone, I have no idea what will happen to the molds.

Rob, FGZ minis said that they were going to redo their 1806 Prussians. I've not heard an update about the re-worked figures in quite a while but you could always send them an email asking for an update.

Also, I have a bunch of Elite, some FGZ, and some Three Armies Prussians. The group I used to game with here wasn't interested in 1806 or probably even Napoleonics so all my work was for naught. If you are interested in some units just PM me and I can send you some pics.

rcdemel15 Jun 2019 6:40 a.m. PST

Decided to "test the waters" this morning and ordered a musketeer and a grenadier unit from Emperor Toads. If these turn out good I will be ordering a a bunch more. I certainly hope the cavalry follows soon.

Unfortunately no one is probably going to make 1806 Prussians with variety in figure poses that Perry offers because there just hasn't been a market for it.
If you want something like that then you'll have to go to a figure company that offers sculpting services (Steve Barber comes to mind) and pay for that yourself.

von Winterfeldt30 Sep 2019 4:34 a.m. PST

AB does a very nice range of them in 18 mm – highly recommended.

ultimatewargamer09 Oct 2019 7:43 p.m. PST

There is also a small range of 28mm 1806 Prussians at link
They are nice and fit with other ranges. I have some of these figures. They do dismounted Prussian Dragoons. Hope this helps.

von Winterfeldt10 Oct 2019 12:10 p.m. PST

indeed the Schilling miniatures look quite good
