Dave Winfree has announced:

Effective today, Scale Specialties (Anaheim, California) has sold decal inventory, designs and rights to the superb line of decals they've made for a number of years to I-94 Enterprises, Hastings, Michigan.
The decals target 1/160 armor and aircraft (WW2), 1/285-1/300 aircraft (WW2, Korea) and limited 10mm samurai.
The 1/285 decals are on the website / shopping cart. The others will be loaded shortly.
I wish Penelope Harms the best in her future endeavors and thank her for her thoroughness throughout.
Dealer inquiries are welcome.

That's great news! Best wishes to all involved.

Not sure how great. Might mean greater availability but the I-94 website is not the most user friendly while I had no problems with the Scale Specialities one. Their 1/160th decals work very well, as you might expect, with 1/144th.

For anyone in Europe, we'll be stocking the full range of these decals in the UK. We'll be placing our first stock order soon and should have them on the Minibits website late July / early August.

I agree Marc, their site needs an update.

Leon. When Norm and Penn started to fo these decals, they were made for our GFI/Minifigs line of vehicles. They were done first rate by Micro Scale. Norm and Penn would only have the best avaialable.

Together, we did a series of P-51D decals to honor a special WWII Fighter unit that my next door neighbor just happened to have aircraft names and serial numbers, and who flew what. With their decals and our P-51D's, Scale Specialties and GFI provided an exact model airplane, in a presentation box, sitting on the plates of the actual surviving pilots at their next to last reunion in Denver, Colorado. My wife and I were fortunate enough to have a seat at the table with 3 retired USAF Generals and next to Robin Olds!

The expressions on the faces of those pilots were literally priceless. Many broke down in tears and accolades of thanks were liberally sent our way. We were lucky to have been at the right place at the right time with the right team of collaborators to have honored those brave men!Somewhere in storage, I have pictures on a 3.5 inch floppy from GFI's Sony camera.

I wish Penn the best of luck in whatever she takes on in the next part of her life. Norm has been missed.
