Didn't the flags often feature a reverse side?

So the somewhat transparent cloth wouldn't display swastika just as a black box divided into for squares.

I would love to do a permanent terrain board, but Im stuck with the old cloth. Here is my game I ran at Historicon written up in Wargamers Digest a few years ago.
