So I'm looking to do a 28mm chola army for ADLG and so wanted some thoughts from people here.

Now I have a bunch of classical Indians , mainly old Glory and 1st Corps miniature. Now my plan is to use some of the classical Indians , not perfect I know. And also mix in some 1st corps Burmese/Thai with my left over classical Indians that didn't make it onto being based.

I'm also thinking about any later Muslim Indian types as well, something that isn't , not sure how to put this but Arab figures that can get away with being chola , with some different shields or something maybes.

Am looking around the internet at Indian, Burmese, Thai and Muslim types. Anyone have any ideas that will be close enough ?

I want to use my classical Indian elephants as I have 4 of those already and don't want to get a whole new lot of other elephants, especially as Chola were southern india, Burma and Indonesia area anyway so can hopefully get away with it.

Thoughts?

I don't think many people will know the difference so you are probably ok to use what you like

India is such an overlooked area for wargaming. It would be lovely to have more armies available in 28mm; they are so exotic!
