You could always use them for raids against Confederate salt works along the coast line. Jim |

Great looking figures Russ. I especially like the officer and the drummer. The shading on the white pants look really good. I have a question. What color are you using to distinguish the edge on the overlapping white straps? You make it look easy. Again, great ACW figures. TIG |

Thanks guys for the feedback, it's very much appreciated. ZULUPAUL, thank you I know dixon can be an acquired taste but i do love these little fellas. Thanks Frederick I'm working on my next unit. This time its Rebs! ColCampbell thank you also, and yeah these guys could definitely have several uses. TIG, thank you also. I do like the Officer it's one of my favourite Dixon minis. The pose us excellent and the bow tie just adds that extra bit of character. The white is all basecoated with GW pallid wych flesh, then washed over with slightly diluted nuln oil. Reinstate the pallid wych flesh and highlight with white. I normally use light grey for base coating white but this seems to work better. So thanks guys, lifes being pretty hectic at the moment so apologies for the delayed response.
Thanks again guys, cheers for now Russ |
