Thanks for posting.

Although I have visited the fort probably 4-5 times, it has been some time since the last visit. It is nice to refresh the memories, and to see the signs of the further restoration made by the Florida Park Service in the past 20 years.

Another restored Third System is Fort Knox, Bucksport Maine. It was begun in the aftermath of a crisis with Great Britain and was intended to protect the mouth of the Penobscot River. It contains several 15" Rodmans. I last visited 12 years ago and, alas, didn't take photos. There are photos at the web site link
