Finally finished my 40K Kill Team. I went with a color scheme that kind of echos the Astra Militarum Cadians in 40k. Kept much of the models in field tan and kept the weapons fairly simple, sticking to a black color highlighted with gray.

I also chose to not include actually painting eyes on this group of models. More and more I am finding that leaving the eyes just shaded with the original flesh colors actually looks more realistic even at display distance. Eyes are difficult to do without looking buggy, and to do them right they really amount to little more than a tiny white slit with a black dot.

I did a non-metallic metal gray on the tanks on their backpacks. I then took a little rust effects and drybrushed it over the tanks to give them some weathering.

The uniforms were one spray primer coat of Army Painter Skeleton Bone, followed by a single wash of Army Painter soft tone brown wash.

Overall I like how they came out!
