Lovely work. I have two such boats with no idea how to use them in the Peninsula. I gave the officers cocked hats to represent the later period and gave the ensigns cased colours to carry as I thought they would leave them that way to protect them from slat spray. Less colourful but it also means they can represent more units.

You might want to consider using them for the many coastal raids conducted along the coasts of Spain and Portugal by the RN. Or use them as part of the several amphibious landing operations on the east coast of Spain.

I agree with the Duke. There are lots of opportunities for coastal operations. I have completed the water effect on this model now, but due to the cold and wet weather we have had of late it is taking an extraordinary amount of time to dry. I hope to be able to post some images of the completed model over the weekend.
