Interested in metal minis where the creatures are 40mm+ in height and which would make good armies against the good guys. They should have several variants, weapons etc but can be any type of monster (both living and dead), alien creature, Alien soldier, mechanical thing etc. Anyone know any good makes? |

Metal? Have you looked at the cheap plastic bags full of monsters, robots etc sold in dollar stores, or from small barrows in shopping malls? They are usually odd scaled versions of "name brand" figures. Might be just what you're looking for, |

yeah, I'd go with plastic. Old Clix things can work great for that purpose. |

Take a look at Hydra miniatures. They may have a few things that could work. |

re: the plastic toys bags. If you're not finding them at your local big-box store or the toy section of yoru supermarket, Amazon has sets of plastic monsters, aliens, robots, etc. with packages of 50-90 for $20. USD The maker seems to be "SCS Direct". There are also Russian plastic figures in the 1/32 or 54mm sclae form Fantasy Battles/Technolog that might work. They run about 6 for $10. USD |
