I am taking a short break from Soviets and Thracians and Celts oh my. I found some files on Thingiverse from user Ilhadiel (https://www.thingiverse.com/Ilhadiel/about) that looked tailored made for some toy knights. I enlarged the files 300 percent so that the figures are roughly 3.5 inches/85mm from soles to eyes. I printed in PLA at a fast level, going for speed over quality. I black primed and painted them in glossy colors to fit the toy mode.

The stl files come with multiple options for customization and are easy enough to modify for even a duffer like me. The wavy sword on the knight is actually assembled from another file on Thingiverse, link There are files for 3 different mounted versions, which at this scale obviously take a while to print.

This will probably be my overnight print project once I get everything dialed in. Eventually I want enough to make a good present for the grand kiddos.

Those came out really well – tempted to print up a few myself…
