This project just launched today the 75th Anniversary of DDAy so there is still a lot of work to do

project44.ca

Amongst other things the Project will provide online maps showing the progress and activities of the Canadian Army in Normandy based on the various War Diaries. You will be able to trace individual units and their battles .

This should not only be useful to historians but to gamers as well assisting them in setting up scenarios and terrain.

The project will extend to cover all the activities of The Canadian Army in Europe and hopefully will be completed by the 75th Anniversary of VE Day in 2020. It is certainly a project that is worth supporting and I am happy to bring it to your attention
