I just need to make some cheap and easy elevated 1/144 air craft stands. They don't need to be adjustable. They will be used for more of a display purpose. I don't really care what they look like. Any ideas?
Thanks!

You might look at jewelry displays made from acrylic. Not always cheap but easy. Some are basically flat "airbase hanger" shaped so you can put one on top of the another, and display planes at different levels.

Use the ones from LITKO?

Use the stems from clear plastic champagne glasses, available at dollar stores?

Nail in a piece of wood?

What size magnets should I use?

A pencil fits in the plastic base almost perfectly. Problem solved.
Thanks Bill!
