So the engines (appear to be two of them) are mounted between the driver/navigator/who ever fires that mortar thing and the turret assembly? That counts as really bad design. I mean really bad design. How the heck does the driver/whatever get out between them in a hurry? When you need to maintain the power pack the main gun, which by the looks of it cannot face the rear without clipping that small rear mounted turret, it hangs over the side taking up maintenance space. On the subject of the rear turret, where is the firer sitting, or maybe it's remote controlled? So why are the engine exhausts brought all the way back (internally) to sit between main and rear turrets. thus providing a shot trap? As for the rear ramp…. ugh. Nope, take the designer away and remove him from the gene pool. |

That rear turret is a Kugelblitz 30mm turret. There is enough space under it for the standard turret basket and gun crew of 3. Though I suspect that there would only be 2 crew in this mounting, no need for the Tank Commander you'd have in a FlaKPanzer IV Kugelblitz. That's a Sturmtiger's main 38cm gun mounted on the Glacis, it's a freaking huge model. |

It's something that the Germans captured from the British and rearmed. They're the ones that put the driver on the wrong side. |

Mid-engines? Clearly Ferdinand Porsche wasn't within a kilometre of this design, as he stuck reolutly to rear-engined vehicles for years, and even today, the Porsche team has to be dragged kickign and screaming into that format ( He said in his James May Top Gear pedant voice.) The PA looks damn good, though. |
