"She does it again!" Topic

I've been working on a customizing project, and while doing some drilling, a clear plastic part about an inch across got caught in the drill bit and went flying to who knows where!

I was pretty sure I knew approximately the direction it got flung, but I couldn't spot it.

However, it also became apparent that I had a lot of junk – excuse me, improperly stored hobby items – that were probably hiding the lost piece. So over the past few days, when I've had time, I've been tidying up.

Tonight, my wife wanders into my workroom, and asks me what I'm up to. I explain about the missing part. She looks around, bends down, picks it up. (It wasn't in the direction I thought it was.)

Once again, my dear wife demonstrates her complete superiority.

She did that on purpose to teach you about misdirection and surprise attacks. So, have you learned your lesson? Hopefully this makes you a better table top general in the future. Huzzah for your better half!
