Back in the days before Ebay, me finding one of those places was like discovering Eldorado. grin

It's gotten a lot harder to find than a few years ago. I was just rebasing some that I touched up /repainted ages back. Those big blister-packed MK things are pretty nice touched up and maybe kitbashed a bit.

Kind of like going to Brookhurst Hobbies in Anaheim. Fascinating because of the weird, eclectic selection and things piled on countertops, old items, etc., but frustrating because finding what you want it is a real challenge.

Bobe's Hobby in Pensacola has scads of spin-racks stuffed with all sorts of old weirdness. Lots of "why is there only one of these?" moments. It's like some wonderful garage sale. or maybe something from a TLC program.

I attended Gen Con 1982, hosted by U of W, Kenosha. We stayed in a tent, in a campground, between Kenosha and Racine, which is less than 10 miles south of Kenosha… Always wanted a reason to re-visit Kenosha. Now I have one -- and a good one, at that! Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
