So far i using 2mm miniatures with half sized game boards and measurement
as you can see this "Pleasont Hill" example.

But now i want try, how it looks like, keeping the original 6mm AoF sizes and measurements, but with 2mm miniatures.

So first i try to make original 60x30mm Bases (including for ART), see this example,
comparison the "small / half sized" units and the "6mm bases"

Next step, i let create a customized digital map template for "Shiloh" (for a print of 120x120cm size).

Such digital templates are also pretty suitable, to define the setup (which unit may setup in which section e.g.), and where may be placed some buildings.

The digital template is als suitable to print a few paper sheets in beforehand, to see how the proportion of the final game mat will be.

So here the part of Pittsburg Landing with GRANT and his HQ

View from the "Sunken Road" to the area of "Peach Orch"

And the area at "Shiloh Church". I know, the church looks like not exact historical,
but itīs all the same to me ;)

So the next steps are, ordering a game mat with the digital template.
And in meantime making a lot of more "large" unit bases :)

A few more "large" bases are ready, so you can see, how it will looks like in future.
5 additional Infantry bases, then the CS army for "Shiloh" is ready.

How it will looks once, if i have enough for large battles as Antietam/Fredericksburg/Gettysburg ;)

The customized "Shiloh" game-mat is here.
A first test setup with the complete CS army.

Finally finished also additional "campaign" marker/bases to use for the Vicksburg and Gettysburg campaign board/mat.

As distinct from the "battle" units for the scenarios, i used here only marching/column figures and did a little bit more diorama-bases.
