Nice. It is difficult to get black uniforms to look right.

I am a total sucker for the firing line, that many do not favour for dice throwing.

I love the smoke/haze effect. The one monochrome photo fits in with the reality of photography back in 1815…..??

The figures? Victrix surely. Perry conversions of British plastics also? Maybe Kosher Perry metals too??? Certainly effective whatever you did. Tell us more

He wrote that the figures are a mix of Perry metals and plastic conversions.

Great looking battle line!

Very nice indeed.

It is the faces that make our figures come to life.

28mm is easier than 20 mm but friends at Scilling, Franznap etc still perform marvels.

The bandage is a nice touch.

Best wishes,

Chris

Faces

Picture 4, front rank, third chap from the right.

I keep thinking that is just cleverly Photoshopped. There are others who do look alive, but he is quite remarkable

Many thanks, folks. Your kind comments are all that keep me going!

I try to do the faces following a tutorial from the incomparable Oniria – link

I do about 4 of his 20 stages and around 1 in 20 nearly gets to halfway as good as his worst efforts!
