guys a question for you
the bundeswehr was formed 1955 i think
the munga jeep starting entering service at about the same time
so while production of the munga was ramping up, did the bundeswehr use willi or m38 jeeps temporarily

M38 and M151 jeeps were used in Germany, as well as the M-8 armored cars.

I know they used the M38 and the M-8s with their Border Patrol, but don't know if they used the M151s or not.

I'm in the process of building 6mm forces for the Bundeswehr for Cold War battles set in 1958 and 1968. I've not found any evidence of any of the three vehicles in service in the German Army.

major mike i am just after locating that site .interesting site looks like they used land rovers, the short wheel base version according to another site ,doesn't say the timeline for deployment of land rovers (will have to keep searching),no reference to m38 jeep pity .
interesting picture when you scroll down western v eastern border guards standoff (spitting distance) at border line ,makes for a interesting scenario

artillery?
antitank?
anti aircraft m42 dusters /towed bofors 40mm?
jeeps mungas
trucks m35
any other info or links appreciated
