Reading about this campaign against the Vikings got me thinking it would make for an interesting Hail Caesar game. Vikings are obviously easy enough to find in 28mm. For the muslims, I've come across "Conquest period" minis and "Crusade" era minis, but nothing specific for the Umayyads in 28mm. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a mini line that would be appropriate for this conflict, even if they are off by a few years from the actual battle timeframe. Cheers. |

I would check out Gripping Beast, Artizan, and Essex ranges for suitable Moorish/Arab figures. Gripping Beast would be my choice personally. |

Footsore appears to be out of stock on everything. I'm hoping that is temporary. |

Artizan or Gripping Beast as they are the only ones who do proper Moors. Artizan are my favourite because I really like the chunkier more characterful poses. |

Artizan are my favourite because I really like the chunkier more characterful poses. And the Artizan Designs figures paint up easily and still look great. |
